STONEMATCH · PRIVACY
Your videos stay on your device.
StoneMatch is designed to create and export your video locally on your iPhone. Your video clips are not uploaded to MADICE.
About this policy
This Privacy Policy explains how MADICE Inc. ("MADICE," "we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use the StoneMatch iOS application.
Your videos and projects
Video analysis, editing, audio mixing, and export take place on your device. StoneMatch does not upload your selected videos, edited projects, or finished videos to MADICE servers.
Saved projects and exported videos remain on your device or in a location you choose, such as Photos or Files. You control when those items are saved, shared, or deleted.
Device permissions
StoneMatch may request access to the following features only when needed for an action you choose:
- Photos: to select video clips and save a finished video.
- Camera and microphone: if you choose to capture video or audio in the app.
- Files and sharing: to save or share a finished video using Apple system features.
You can change these permissions at any time in iOS Settings.
Music catalog and delivery
StoneMatch connects to MADICE services to retrieve the music catalog and stream music previews or selected tracks. These requests use a track identifier and the technical information ordinarily required to deliver an internet request, such as an IP address and device or network information. We do not use this information to build advertising profiles.
Purchases and subscriptions
Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. MADICE does not receive your full payment card details. Apple may provide transaction and subscription status information needed to unlock purchased features and support your account. Apple's handling of information is governed by Apple's own privacy policy.
Data collection, advertising, and analytics
StoneMatch does not include third-party advertising or analytics SDKs. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Our hosting and content-delivery providers may process limited technical request data transiently to deliver music, maintain security, prevent abuse, and keep the service reliable.
Service providers and disclosures
MADICE uses service providers only where reasonably necessary to operate StoneMatch, including infrastructure and content-delivery providers and Apple for App Store purchases. These providers may process information only for the services they provide to us or as required by law. We require service providers that process information on our behalf to provide the same or an equivalent level of privacy protection described in this policy and required by applicable law.
We may disclose limited information when we reasonably believe disclosure is required by applicable law, valid legal process, or a binding governmental request; to investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents; or to protect the rights, property, safety, and integrity of users, MADICE, or the public. We may also transfer relevant information as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality and privacy protections.
Children's privacy
StoneMatch is not directed to children under 13, or the equivalent minimum age in the relevant jurisdiction, and is not designed to collect personal information from children. Because videos remain on the device and the app does not require an account, MADICE does not knowingly collect children's video content through StoneMatch. If you believe a child has provided personal information to MADICE, contact us so that we can review and, where required, delete it.
Security and retention
We use reasonable administrative, organizational, and technical safeguards designed to protect the limited information processed by the services that deliver StoneMatch's music catalog. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
MADICE does not retain your selected videos, edited projects, or finished videos because StoneMatch does not upload them to MADICE servers. Local projects remain under your control on your device until you delete them or the app. Limited technical service records are retained only for the period reasonably necessary to deliver and secure the service, diagnose failures, prevent abuse, comply with law, and resolve disputes, after which they are deleted or de-identified. Transaction records received from Apple may be retained as required for subscription administration, accounting, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.
Your choices and privacy rights
You may revoke camera, microphone, or Photos access at any time in iOS Settings. You may delete locally saved projects through StoneMatch where that option is available, and you may delete exported files from Photos, Files, or another location where you saved them. Removing StoneMatch from your device deletes information stored solely within the app's local container, subject to iOS behavior and any copies you separately saved.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of personal information MADICE holds about you, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You may submit a request to privacy@madice.ai. We may need to verify your request and may retain or decline to delete information where permitted or required by law, including for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, and the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims. We will respond within the period required by applicable law.
International processing
MADICE and its service providers may process limited service information in the United States and other countries where they operate. Where applicable law requires it, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as StoneMatch evolves. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date on this page and provide additional notice when required.
